Donuts…. Beignets

I love donuts. Living in Napa, one of my favorite places is Butter Cream Bakery.

If you’re out looking to get breakfast, and you want a donut, try out Boon Fly Cafe.

Recently we went to New Orleans and of course I had to stop at Cafe du Monde. These were not the donuts I was used to eating. Three large puffed up light donuts, that were completely doused in powder sugar.

But now I’ve learned of a place in Benicia called The Workshop, which not only serves up New Orleans style cuisine, but beignets on Saturday mornings.
